Sh*t People Say: Portland
Nyla (@Prymadonna) and Nicole (@ThatsMeeNG) approached 503tv to collaborate on a venture which would give an additional perspective on the “Sh*t People Say videos”, specifically the ones focused on Portland, OR. They drew inspiration from the creators of “Sh*t Portlander’s Say“ and “Shit Portland People Say.” The project was extremely fun to work on and we really hope the public enjoys it. The people of Portland don’t fit into one mold, the ladies simply chose a few scenarios from their own experiences. Don’t take anything too seriously.. just enjoy.

Newly Formed Company for Business Clientele
We’ve been listening to our advisors and have decided to form a new company for our business clients. The feedback from several people has been that they love our work but can’t be associated with 503tv because of some of the more “Risqué” projects we’ve been involved in. We understand your concern and have acted on it. We won’t mess with 503tv because that’s for the people and all of you have been very supportive. For those business/corporate clients email us at info@503tv.com for now to get more information on the newly formed, completely separate company.
Thank you to all of our supporters!
Luck One vs. DJ Chill Good for Portland Hip Hop?
If you haven’t been hibernating for the winter I’m sure you’re well aware of the rap beef between Luck One (@LuckOne ) and DJ Chill (@therealchill) The beef stems from a line that Luck One spit on the “PDX Pass The Mic” video (see below) the line from Luck One was “I cut em open with a DJ Skill, try to test and get crippled like you DJ Chill.” For the record, our sources tell us that the line was actually referring to Chill from the House Party movies. However, DJ Chill took offense to this and released his own diss track (see below) in which he took what some might say were low blows at the conscious rapper.
Is this good for Portland Hip Hop? I say hell yeah, if you’ve been on Twitter or Facebook this week then you see how many people have been chiming in as well as stalking the two mc’s pages for the latest updates. In a town where support of our hip hop artist has been lacking something like this may just be the shot in the vein that the game needs. With that said, let’s keep it on wax fellas and may the best man win. Rumor has it that a response track from Luck One will be released soon..
